The Cass Midway R-1 School District is seeking applicants for the position of Director of Special Education for the 2008-09 school year.  The district is accredited with Distinction in Performance and a Professional Learning Community.  Midway is located twelve miles west of Harrisonville and twenty miles south of Kansas City.  A master's degree and appropriate certification is required.  This position includes supervision of the K-12 special education program as well as other related educational services and federal programs.
