The Fall updates to your policy service through MUSIC
or MARE is now available on line. To download the updated copies go to
http://www.moconed.com . The updates
include the following: Policy and Regulation 1405 - Parent/Family Involvement
in Education; Policy 2610 - Behavioral Expectations; Policy 2651 - Student
Dress; Policy and Regulation 2750 - Wellness; Policy 3140 - Financial
Management; Policy 4520 - Salary Deductions; Policy 4540 - Group Insurance
Benefits; Regulation 6250 - Instruction for Students with Disabilities.
Most of these are Policy and Regulations that have been
in place but required some update/revisions. For your assistance, the listing
also includes a red-lined version for you to see what changes/revisions were
made.
Having received some phone calls on this new service we
would like to make the following clarifications. The Missouri Association of
Rural Education Executive Board has purchased a legal retainer from the firm
of Doster, Mickes, James, Ullom, Benson & Guest. For this retainer, the firm
will be available to answer questions on minor legal issues. There is no
additional charge to MARE member school districts for this service. It is
considered part of your annual MARE membership dues.
